Abstract


This study aims to analyze efforts to overcome children's difficulties in understanding science learning in elementary school on the material of changes in the state of matter, temperature and heat. Science learning is learning that is directly related to real life. Therefore, students must have a good conceptual understanding of science learning, especially the material of changes in the state of matter, temperature and heat. Understanding the concept of changes in the state of matter, temperature, and heat in elementary school is very important to equip students with scientific knowledge that is relevant in everyday life. However, many students face difficulties in understanding this material, due to limited learning methods, minimal interactive media, and low learning motivation. This research method uses a combination of survey methods, interviews, and literature studies to identify factors that cause learning difficulties and recommend solutions to improve the quality of science learning. This study shows that simple experiment-based learning, the use of educational technology, and parental involvement can significantly improve students' understanding of this material. With a more interactive and contextual approach, it is hoped that science learning in elementary school will be more effective and relevant.
