ANALISIS BERBASIS PRAKTIK DALAM MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPAS DI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Creativity is the ability of individuals to find change and to overcome the challenges and obstacles that arise in the process. In order to support students' creative process, teachers need to develop methods and learning frameworks that can enhance creativity. In addition to improving critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills also need to be improved. Creative thinking is one of the life skills that need to be developed in the 21st century. This research aims to develop students' creativity in IPAS classes using a practice-based learning model. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique in this research is by conducting direct interviews with fifth grade teachers of SD Negeri 067098 Jl. Education, East Medan District. Based on the results of research data collection, data was obtained by asking questions to the fifth grade teacher so that the researcher could conclude the results of research related to practice in improving student creativity in IPAS subjects in elementary schools. Hands-on learning has been shown to be effective in encouraging students to think creatively. Through hands-on activities, students are able to explore new ideas independently and in groups, develop problem-solving skills and apply learned knowledge.
